A lot of companies treat CMMI® like a another one certificate which helps to increase company recognition or sale volumes. They try to implement it and they fail. Because the company needs to adopt CMMI® not implement it. CMMI® needs to be bound with the company business goals and strategy. And it should be treated like guidelines, not like mandatory regulations. The presentation shows typical mistakes that lead to CMMI® implementation failures and provide suggestions of how to avoid them. It’s based on 5+ years experience of using CMMI® in different Luxoft delivery centers.
